Each person's own AI app

Can my people use their own AI on our files without losing track?

If your people already use their own AI apps, each can link any that supports this kind of connection, such as Claude, to their space without sign-off from an admin, someone with full authority there.

Claude, though, can reach your space only at a public web address beginning with https, which your host (whoever runs AIEUS for you) has to provide.

AIEUS does not stop the app to ask for approval, so the app's own confirmation questions are the only check of that kind. Admins can read a log of each request the app makes, with a short result summary, though the automatic blanking of passwords and keys in that log may miss some.

The person's own AI account does the app's thinking and keeps their chat and any file text the app reads, outside every setting in your space, though any message the app posts into the space is stored there. Asking the space's AI assistants, or searching files by topic, still uses the space's AI.

The app acts with that person's access and no more. It has an admin's powers only if they are one, and reaches spaces inside theirs only where they may enter.

Nothing in AIEUS lists connected apps, and removing the link inside Claude leaves its sign-in in place, free to keep renewing with no end date.

A password change by that person, or an admin's reset followed by a new password, cuts off all their apps at each one's next action. Disabling the account only pauses them.
